If it has a "_pass.txt" file, it should work (in "DX9+Shaders" mode.)

You can create a _pass" file if your skin doesn't have one.

The norms (bumps) worked fine, but the actual skin turned completely black after I added the "_pass.txt" files!
Any solution to that?

I'm not sure. I recall that happening even with Hook.

Does your skin include .dds files? Even though V11 supports .dds images (exclusively in "_pass" files), it must convert them to .png format first, and that conversion doesn't always work (this is particularly a problem if you already have png files by the same name. Then the converted image(s) get renamed to something the skin can't find. Result: black skin.

If your skin uses .dds files, try to convert them back to png by hand.

If your skin doesn't include dds files, try checking the png files for proper size & format.

I converted every .dds file in my skin but to no avail :(

I need the files themselves. Thumbnails & filenames don't help me.

The "mod_" prefix is for the 4x/8x mod.

Okay, this should be an easy fix.

Notice the Body is fine but everything else is black. Your "pass" files for them have blank entries for the layers while the pass file for the Body links to the body .dds files.

Correct the pass files and it should work fine. (I'll test it later.)
