Why breasts get smaller when I change the pose? I have to go to the body section to do a load of the body to get a saved look. Body is addon.

Hello, everyone!

I have been trying to make Hook5 work with VX, but still cannot get it running. I followed meticulously all the installation instructions provided in the guide, checked and double-checked if all the necessary files in the Binaries folder were in place and always launched the program using the executable inside the Binaries folder. But nada. Each time I start TK17 VX with H5, the program returns the same error:

"Error [80000008] EFail

Description:
DirectX Version 8 or higher is not installed or damaged.

Location:
  RenderEngineDirectX8_D::InitializeRenderWindow
Function:
  Direct3DCreate8 "

The issue seems to be the d3d8.dll. I find this strange, because I installed all the DirectX packages the H5 guide requires me to install.

I then checked the logs in the Event Viewer, but found nothing relevant there.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could sort this out?

Thank you!

Dear Huduyofja.
Hook 3, 4 or 5 is not a part from TK17, VX or V11.
I never use Hook 5, but similar error I had when I used Hook 3a on Intel (Procesor) Grafic Card.
If you want real help give more information about your hardware and OS and mostly for your graphic card.

If you downloaded Hook5 Full from Ejax, don't install everything that's packed in there. Start by unpacking only hook5_extended_unlocked.rar and copy these files to the binaries folder...

The others are additional files, some even duplicate, and many of them you don't need. Don't bother with this until the game is running smoothly.

If it does, you will find errors related to H5 in mainfx_errors.txt in the binaries folder...

Update - after replacing the mainboard of my PC and a fresh and first-time W 11 installation I had the same problem with missing d3d8.dll...

Simply copying this .dll into the System32 folder didn't help, nor did dozens of tips from the Internet.

The solution was to install dxwebsetup.exe from the
