Roy, don't you think it would be safer to keep all content stored off this site? It's not just bandwidth, I think having content stored in 'your' server makes it easier to take down claims, especially given you hosting's geolocation.

Also, if files are hosted offsite and we get our home lost again, it would be very simple to just re-link all of them in some other 'house'.

I know that hosting is not cheap (not if you want a reliable one) and you will see far fewer submissions in that case.

Not arguing, but I know I will not be paying my limited funds for upload space.

As far as the mega packs, threads for them will be posted once someone can provide them. To our knowledge, the users responsible for the megapacks are M.I.A. (unless you're one of them, then you need to PM one of us to let us know what you have.) There's no need to clutter the forum with needless threads.

Lurkers are people who read the messages but never post (either because they want to know the community before registering or because they just want to take advantage of that community without being part of it). They generally don't even register on most boards they visit... but they have to on this one in order to access the content.
