Actor 1+2 are using the default kissing pose, can you find them?

If the fact that your mesh will not work with Hook if you use other face type than tri should be enough to persuade yourself to triangulate everyting, here a another one: performance drop caused by other type of prim.

Thank to Berger, I had my hand on a scene that have around 100 mesh where 1/3 of them are polygon type.
Polygon type = mesh mixing different type of face and/or having at less one face using 5 or more vertex (Ngon).
While triangulated, this room gave me a fps of 75, but keeping the original polygon type dropped my fps...at 15!
75 to 15, this is a hell of a drop.

Then I wondered about the performance difference between 100% quad and 100% tri, so I created a scene of 1100 cube(see the image)
100% quad = 44fps
100% tri = 48fps
Yep, quad cause a drop of around 10%.

Now it's confirmed, tri give better performance.

But I had a last thing to test.
What will happen if I join all my 1100 cube together = they will appear the same in-game, but will be considred as being a single mesh.
115 fps

Are you kidding me?
There is no joke, fps really get double.
The performance boost also apply with Hook4: 30~40( not joigned) vs 90~100(joigned).
