I just downloaded this beta from the link, and the addons. Go to launch and get this error saying: cannot read configuration from openstream.lua.

I tried reinstalling, and still get this error. What did I screw up? TY!!

From this site. Not sure if I had to uninstall/remove V10 or not...

Reinstall V11 and start clean, without addons.
If work, then some addon is the reason.

No need to uninstall V10. You can have both at the same time.

First thing is to rule out any addons or mods. Temporarily move everything in your "Addons" folder to another folder (I like to create a folder called "Addons.disabled") and restart V11.

If it runs, you have a bad Addon. Move a few back at a time until you figure out which one is the source of your problem.

If V11 still crashes with no Addons, you should uninstall and reinstall clean (preferably to a different drive.)

I am having trouble with the Vulkan Ears and Elf Ears sliders not working. I didn't have this problem before but now the ears won't change. Does anyone know what could be causing this? The only mods I've downloaded are clothing mods, room mods and 4 female bodies and 1 male body.

I'll have to ask around on this one. They work fine for me.

Try disabling all Addons. If the problem goes away, restore mods slowly till you find which is at fault.

I worked with the game for a long time ago and forgot everything:( In which folders should be placed addons, textures, poses, rooms ? And in what form - in archives or does it need to be unzipped? Thank you in advance. And yes, we are talking about VX :)

Addons (of course) go in the "Addons" folder. Either the raw folder (containing "Images", "Scenes" & "Scripts") or archived as a zip or 7z file. TXX files are automatically extracted.

Texture mods go in a folder in the Mod\Activemod\ folder. The name of your folder sets the name of the mod.
