This is definetely a case of quantity over quality (even if there is some quality stuff in there).
Sorting out the screenshots, duplicates and stuff that flat out doesn't interest you would be far too time consuming.
I am sure there is a demand for oversized packs but I wonder if they even end up using half of it.
On the plus side, judging from the screens, these pack feature some fairly old content that I was happy to see didn't get lost due to .. hum, recent events.

Loriana Wrote:Like i said no problem sharing stuff it's free for everybody :ymhug: , the only problem is some of them, say they are the authors, and..ttt
it's just not good. :)
No offense huh! ;) just if they don't claim they own ok, if not well...they have credit they don't deserve cause they don't work for hours on a project.
:YMPEACE:
i hear ya , they got my attention when they showed one of mine in there prevue screenshot hehe .
i agree it disrespects the original content provider BUT think about it , do leeches really care about stuff like that or follow a particular artist ?
note i did download a couple of the bulk archives and it about 60% duplicate or crap , i still have to sort out most of it , i grab the archives thinking that it may be my last chance to get what i dident get from the garden.

I have to agree with all of you with the megapacks. I download only the stuff I think I really want to use, and that's not a lot...
My stuff is shared there (fritchy) too, but as they are lazy-ass-bastards, they haven't bother to remove my name from the preview pics. I also bet they haven't changed the name of my poses, so they got my nick all over. (My poses are always named "PTR-'posename'-'posenumber'.)
What's annoying in the megapacks is also that there's a lot of crap, and when there's some quality stuff you don't know who made it. If I find some good quality I want to see if the same author has made more good quality...
And what comes to the 'new garden' I think I don't believe anything until I see it. There's been promises and rumors for so long, that I just stick here and say 'fuck it'. Of course I will join the new site if it comes, but I'm not going to bother wondering if it comes or not.
EDIT: Oh, and there it is! :p

Yeah, it's up and running. No new posts yet, but it's there, along with all of the old content (as far as I can tell). I'll be staying here, too, of course. Just good to know all my old content isn't gone. Did NOT feel like re-uploading everything.

Yep, seems it works fine. There's just one BUT.
Now when I got back to the garden it feels a bit strange. It's because there's been some things on here and Oz's short lived place that I really like. I mean things like how the topics are organized, you can create your own topics, etc. Those are things that always bothered me at the garden, but since it was the only place for us I didn't complain. (Ok, I complained a little but they never changed.)
The other forums we have been now have kind of opened my eyes for all the little faults in the garden. Almost everything is better in here (Roy's), it's just the official updates etc. that's a good thing on the garden...
I'm gonna be on the Garden too, but I'm not gonna leave this site. The only thing that bothers me here is that it keeps on logging me of with Tor-browser :(
Does anyone have same kind of feelings?

I COMPLETELY agree. The Garden has a crappy layout. I would abandon it completely, except for the fact that all of our historical content (and, obviously, the much-needed updates) are there. I'll continue to use this forum as my "primary" forum. When I start posting content again (soon), I'll use both, but this will be my "chatting with other TK'ers" forum.

Well.. had to see with my own eyes.. apparently the garden is up and running again..
I DO MISS the garden layout because of its simplicity and the markings... I never liked vBulletin's piled up layouts.. I'm having a hard time getting used to it, to be honest :/
but all the hat tipping goes up for Roy for its initiative on getting this altogether.. and yes, it is better to spread ourselves in case we have to face another situation like before.. that way we can always have a shelter to gather again..
the rock's not gonna stop, so let's rip it up..
beats are gonna drop- you can trip 'em up.
If your mind is on fire but it's not enough..
we were born to be wasted

@Roy, I told you it would not die when the garden came back... ;)
I am of course burning the candle from both ends as I still also like the garden as well...
