Some days ago Phoebe advised adding i. before imgbox in the BB code to avoid the ads. It worked great, but today those images stopped loading - the thumbnails on the forum remain, but imgbox doesn't load at all when I click them. Images without the i. line work fine. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes there is a problem, I guess imgbox got mad at us for skipping out the adverts, or maybe it will work later, but if you want you can edit your post and remove the i. from the link....

Thanks for confirming. I already did the edit, hopefully this will be a temporary problem.

Do you realize that you are violating Roy's request that we use outside hosters to upload our pics to and then post a thumbnail here??? [-x

By editing your post you will NOT lose any thank you clicks that your pic has already received...

Posting the files on an outside hoster would solve 2 problems, firstly it will offer us more protection from 3X attacking the forum, and secondly it will save me a lot of bandwidth as for every time a member downloads a file right now is costing me bandwidth...

Posting thumbnails of pics costs me practically nothing IF the pictures are hosted at for example imgbox as I did with some of mine posted here...
At the moment every time a member opens a screens page displaying uploaded pics that are been hosted on the forum server it is costing me the amount of those pics...

Change it to text messages, thumbnails and files hosted on outside file hosters and it will cut the bandwidth usage dramatically...
Sure some members might not like it, but it is I who is paying for the bandwidth usage so ya'll will either accept it or contribute towards the forums costs per month...

This is NO witch hunt, since this is a new forum we did not realize that uploading pictures and files to the server would push the bandwidth usage up so high, and just remember Roy pays all the forum costs so we needed to make a few changes to the file & picture rules, no one is being hunted down, just please try to follow the changes we had to make in order to keep running costs down...
