You enjoy your daily routine more than you think. That's why you do it. I've had a different type of life. I remember, when I was 14, I was very depressed. I thought my life was horrible and I should end it. So, being 14, I looked for something with a warning label on it and took a bunch of them. Well, they were iron pills. :/. They didn't do much, lol. Still, the intent was there.
Thing is, my life got a lot worse after that. I had thought things were as bad as they could be, but then - suddenly - I was looking back and wishing I had the life I wanted to throw away. That kind of perspective wakes you up. You can't appreciate what you have, unless you lose it. The enemy of living forever is boredom, not unhappiness or even misery. You don't feel where you are, because it's a flat roller coaster. A train ride. It doesn't mean you don't like where you are.
