In general, how do we balance wanting to live forever with needing new people?  Imagine how rekt a 300 year old pussy would be?  We all want to live forever, of course.  Even basic survival instinct supports it.  But, we need new people and new ideas at the same time.

I have an unsubstantiated, crackpot, theory that Thailand is the garden of Eden.  I've done no research to see if there's conflicting information out there, but from what I've seen around me - there's a lot to substantiate the idea.

So, what's the answer?  For me, the idea was transhumanist - through moving consciousness into computer worlds where people could be completely free, and resource usage would be minimized.  This would require people to give up on the idea of controlling intelligent life forms, though.  Which is, really, the rub.  It's never actually about what they say it's about.  It's not about the use of resources causing problems that we need to solve - the universe is full of resources.  It's about using the fear of shortages - mostly artificial - to control people into being slaves of the 'elite'.  Which, in this case, the elite - simply - are the people who know how to do that.  There's nothing special about the 'elite', most aren't that great.  Their only skill is knowing how to use fear and manipulation to get people to do things for them. 

They, are, basically children.  Cripples who are pretty much useless as human beings, and require constant care by people around them to even function.  This is who the 'elite' are.  Because, the truly intelligent, deserving, and useful people know how to do the most with the fewest resources.  They will find ways to make what we have go further.  Work hard to do more with less.

A real solution will see human population multiply, and live forever at the same time.

Think, too, that the real enemy of living forever is boredom.  Happiness is something that must be maintained.

I don't want to live forever and if you look at it... how much free time does a person have to enjoy... work 8 hrs, sleep 8, an hour to work an hour home, cook, house duties leaves very little time to enjoy... What is death... sleep forever internal piece and so why people want to live forever when you can have piece for eternity. By the way it tickle me your assessment of the rich, elite... true
