I like you idea. I don't now how make to blow up the desk from the stage, but, you can put the drum over it to hide it
Take a look at H-Temple, maybe it can look like a 80s heavy metal band videoclip xD

I've tried to look through his posts for any room mods, but the only one I've found so far is the Sybian Begone mod, which I already have.
